Working in partnership with parents, carers and families is a key part of the Early Years Foundation Stage. At Yorkley we are committed to the healthy development of all of our children. However, this requires parents and teachers to constantly collaborate. Parent's support and involvement at a young age can lay the foundation for successful experiences in primary school and beyond.
We encourage and embrace parental engagement at Yorkley. Every Friday from 8.40am - 9.10am parents, carers and family members are invited in to school to complete an activity together with their child. The activities range from mindfulness tasks to creative messy play. The children thrive and are inspired by seeing their parents enthusiastic about learning.
