It’s Children’s Mental Health Week!
Yorkley Primary School is supporting Children’s Mental Health Week [https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/], which is run by Place2Be to shine a light on children and young people’s mental health in February each year. This year’s theme is ‘Find Your Brave’.
Bravery comes in all shapes and sizes and is different for everyone. Bravery can be about sharing worries and asking for help, trying something new or pushing yourself. Finding your brave can build your confidence, self-esteem and make you feel good about yourself.
Life often tests us but bravery isn’t about coping alone or holding things in. It’s about finding constructive ways to deal with things that might be difficult.
Parents and carers play a big role in helping young people to Find Their Brave. Tap or click here [https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/parents-and-carers/] for some top tips.
